MOVING to new premises at Cardiff means Valley Motor Auctions (VMA) can now lay claim to being the biggest business of its kind outside the Sydney metropolitan area.
Established in 1991, VMA has grown to be the largest regional motor vehicle auction in Australia. VMA auctions all types of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, trucks, commercial vehicles, four-wheel-drives, boats and caravans. General manager Sam Dawe said the move afforded the luxury of having more vehicles under cover. "The building has beaut high ceilings and there is a lot of natural light," Mr Dawe said. "The new showrooms and there are two of them show the cars off beautifully." VMA is a private and trade auction catering for all dealers and private customers throughout NSW and all states of Australia. Managing director Graham Gamer has more than 40 years of experience in the motor industry in both Sydney and Newcastle. Mr Dawe has more than 30 years of experience in the auction industry. Sales manager Steven Gamer has more than 14 years of experience in the motor vehicle auction industry. "We pride ourselves on our client-focused approach," Mr Dawe said. "Ours is a flexible approach aimed at matching services and procedures with the specific needs of the client." From a humble start 17 years ago the business has grown into the Valley Auction Group, which incorporates Valley Motor Auctions, Valley Commercial Auctions and Valley Pacific. The group as a whole specialises in government vehicles, finance company vehicles, on site auctions, insolvency matters, valuations and property sales and auctions.
